We Send and Go!
Why go?
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” Romans 10:14-15
At GBC, one of the best ways to truly grow as a believer is to take intentional steps to serve others in various parts of the world. It keeps us humble, focused on Christ and serving those that have very little.
Missions= "Big picture" perspective
At Glendale Baptist Church we want to encourage the development of individuals who desire to serve in missions. We believe it is important to provide people with opportunities to gain firsthand experience sharing the gospel in other cultures, to see others from a God perspective and to grow for them to grow spiritually in fulfilling Jesus' commission to make disciples of all nations. Where do we Go?
Lukulu, Zambia
A team from GBC went has gone to Zambia in 2016 & 2018. They delivered over 100 "Operation Christmas Child" boxes, along with teaching over 40 pastors and 700 people with medical needs.
South Korea
A team from GBC went to Korea in 2014 and taught English and Bible to over 600 Korean students. We took 7 students in 2023, with 5 more going for the summer in 2024
Future Trips?
2 individuals from GBC just got back from India, and are currently have a team planning on going to Mexico March 19--27, 2025. We have 13 people set up to go. The cost is $700
